A handful of you, about 5% of our Sprinter van users, have noticed something odd: when you first plug in your GearSpace Cargo Carrier, the lights start blinking rapidly instead of functioning properly. First off, we want you to know we've seen it, we've researched it, and we're here with the answers and solutions.

Before we dive into the nitty-gritty, let's get one thing out in the open: every single GearSpace Cargo Carrier (and BlackBox, for that matter) gets a thorough check-up before it leaves our home base, especially those bright and shiny LED lights. If you're experiencing the blink and wondering if it's the carrier or your van, there's an easy test. Hook up your GearSpace to a different vehicle (anything that's not a Sprinter van will do). If the left, right and brake lights work properly, it's a clear sign that your carrier is A-OK, and it's just a little communication error between the carrier's efficient LEDs and your van.
