With increased market interest in overlanding evidenced by Toyota’s introduction of its concept TRD-Sport Trailer at the 2020 SEMA360 virtual show, Let’s Go Aero is pleased to have taken this concept to reality with its established line of pick up bed trailers for outdoor recreation and multi-purpose uses.
“We knew way back in 2007 that a pick up bed style trailer was the way to go when we first designed the LittleGiant Trailer, followed by the enhanced SpecOps model nearly a decade later”, says Marty Williams, Let’s Go Aero’s product inventor and CEO. Built for utility and sport, the trailer’s 88” x 54” x 24” bed dimension mimic those of mid -to -large sized truck beds while being lightweight enough for any vehicle to tow.
In addition to its lightweight feature, much like the Toyota's concept trailer, the LittleGiant and Specs Ops Trailers are made for hard work as well as adventure. Both trailer models have a common pickup bed and performance-driven running gear ‘any road’ rating for all posted interstate speeds or crawling around the rugged back country off roads. The LittleGiant Trailer model runs on B78 80D 13 inch tires that provide 15 inch of ground clearance. The SpecOPS model comes with a radial light truck off-road rated 29 inch tire on a modular black steel rim for stylish looks, performance, and 20 inches of ground clearance for four-wheeling behind vehicles such as the Toyota Tacoma or Jeep.
Along with the unique solid walled bed design for multi-purposes uses, the trailers include front and rear removable end gates and an integrated C-Channel track running along the top of the entire 86 inch long side walls for cargo management and accessorizing. The trailers are also equipped with a marine swivel jack and levelers that provide stability when standing inside to load and unload gear, and forms the basis for tent camping usage.
The strong steel trailer frame carries heavy loads for both trade work and all kinds of outdoor adventure and sporting gear. The LittleGiant axle can carry three-quarter tons of cargo while the more rugged SpecOps will carry a full ton for even heavier equipment. Whether it’s an ATV, farm and agriculture, landscaping, home improvements, or travel and recreation, the trailers provide a pick up bed form and function with the convenience of ground level load accessibility and versatility for a wider range of uses made available through Let’s Go Aero’s extensive accessories catalog for upfits.
The trailer’s novel system of modularity now brings even more choices and new surprises for gear transport, utility, and overland adventure. As the true original it is, both LittleGiant and SpecOPS trailers can be outfitted with three different camper upfit kits: TreeHaus, SummitHaus and Crash Pad configurations, along with fitting all aftermarket rooftop tents in a valuable tow behind system. Soft tonneau and hard shell tonneau covers, along with four distinctive rack choices to carry a wide variety of cargo including bikes, kayaks, fly rod holders, aftermarket roof top tents, ladders, and related job or recreational equipment are all part of a very exciting line up from Let’s Go Aero.
